Hey, everybody. It's Mary Cheney, marketing manager here at VoIP Supply. And today we're going to be unboxing Jabra's Panacast 50. I do want to mention that we actually recently used this device at an event, so some of the protective stickers that they had are not on here. But I did think that when I opened this up, the experience of unboxing it was so cool, that I just had to share it with you. So let's get to this.
As you can see, there's a really nice handle here. There are some details on the box. Let's lift this up. Put that up there. So just straight here, this is so cool. Also, eco-friendly recycled material. Love that. So right on top, when you open the box, you can see there's a positioning guide here. So a really nice tool. It shows you the distance to the screen. There are also some great instructions here, on how to install it. There's a QR code. I actually used this when I was looking to hook this up at the event that we were at. It was very handy. But again, it shows you everything that you need to set it up.
The other accessory that is available is a remote. Remote, please. So here's your remote control. This is also a separate accessory. Again, really, really cool instructions here. This is very sturdy. Also comes with that extra sticky back. So if you want to have it right on the table, you can do that. This is Microsoft Teams certified as well. So if you're working in that Teams environment, this should automatically hook up for you. You have your volume control, your mute. If you have a call, you can use that. Zooming in and out. You can add preset positions here.
And the other feature that is built into this is Jabra's whiteboard feature. So if, for example, you're in a classroom setting and you have a whiteboard or a blackboard, and the teacher just wants to make sure that the camera zooms in on that, they can hit this button and it'll automatically know where to zoom in once you've set that up in Jabra Direct.
The audio quality on it is amazing. You do want to make sure you have Jabra Direct installed. Once you install it, it will automatically pop up and let you know if there are updates that are needed on the device. The user interface for Jabra Direct for the Panacast 50 is incredibly easy to use. So again, if you're working with teachers, in order to get them familiar with the software and platform, it's very, very, very easy. Doesn't take a lot of time to learn. And it's giving you that quality audio and visual experience that you need these days.
The Panacast 50 is a true plug-and-play device. You also have that optional remote control for Microsoft Teams meetings. There are three ways to install the Panacast 50. You can do it via a wall mount, screen mount, or a table stand. As far as video, you'll have a 180-field of view, wall-to-wall natural view without distortion, panoramic-4K quality, everyone will look sharp and in focus, and the virtual director detecting active speakers and frames accordingly for dynamic and engaging meetings.
Audio quality, you have eight beamforming microphones for crystal clear conversations and four speakers in a vibration-free studio setup for high-definition audio. As mentioned during the unboxing, you have whiteboard sharing, capturing anything you write on a whiteboard in real-time and enhancing readability.
Another really important feature that Jabra has built into this device is safety capacity insights. This gives you a real-time notification in case room occupancy guidelines are breached. You also have room usage insights. Visual dashboard data enables you to analyze meeting history and reconfigure space accordingly. The Panacast 50 is certified for use with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and optimized for all leading UC platforms.
