Second filmed session with the FX Indy FAC air rifle where I used the 18 ft/lbs setting at 40yds with 16gr. Air Arms Diabolo Hunter pellets.
What a difference that makes and it has become clear that the 30 ft/lbs power requires a heavier pellet to ensure accuracy.
I was not using a clamp or sandbag as I wanted a fair representation of how accurate the rifle could be nearer to field conditions but I may do a video in the future of the accuracy which can be achieved with such stability.
Thanks to Sandy from 'Wiltshire Man' channel for reminding me that it is better not to lift my head from the cheek plate between shots - it definitely makes a difference for target shooting.
