Vitaly Peskov was a distinguished Russian cartoonist, the author of about 15,000 works published in Russia and abroad. He was born on May 12, 1944 in Moscow; he died March 12, 2002 also in Moscow. During his lifetime, there was not even a single personal exhibit nor a collection of his works in his homeland. He received no domestic awards; all his awards were from abroad. On the next day after his death his apartment was robbed—everything disappeared: money, clothes, furniture, electronic appliances…the huge archive of publications, which the author had been gathering during his lifetime of creativity, also vanished. A month later, somebody named Leonid Tishkov called Vitaly Peskov a great friend of his and organized a paid exhibit of 300 works of the author…wherein the widow of the artist Irina Korshikova asserts that this person was never a friend of Vitaly’s, and she wasn’t even aware of his existence. How did it happen that he ended up with 300 Vitaly’s works? There is only one answer: he stole them from the author’s apartment. Irina Korshikova had in her possession nearly 3,000 works of her husband, that is why these drawings were preserved, otherwise they would have vanished along with the other works of her husband. The widow has published a book about him with the remaining works (the abbreviated version of the book can be found on the internet). This video is created due to remaining works of Vitaly Peskov.
Vitaly Peskov, un grand peintre caricaturiste russe, auteur d’a peu pres 15 mille dessins, publies en Russie comme a l'etranger. Ne le 12 mai 1944 a Moscou, decede le 12 mars 2002 dans la meme ville. Aucun livre monographique n'a paru au cour desa vie, aucune exposition personnelle n'a eu lieu. Les prix recus par l'artiste n'ont ete decernes qu'a l'etranger. Le lendemain apres son deces l'appartement du peintre a ete cambriole: argent, vetements, meubles, appareils electromenagers - tout a disparu. De meme qu'une enorme archive des publications assembles par le peintre pendant toute sa vie. Un mois apres sa mort un homme qui s'appelle Leonid Tichkov se nommant ami de Vitaly a organise une exposition de 300 caricatures a l'entree payante. La veuve de Vitaly Pescov affirme que ce Leonid Tichkov n'a jamais ete ami de son mari, et les dessins exposees ont ete vole de l'appartement. Irina Korchikova, veuve du peintre a eu la chance de garder a peu pres 3 mille dessins de son mari. Grace a elle ces travaux n'ont pas disparus. Irina Korchikova a publie un livre sur la vie et l'oeuvre de son mari (une version abregee est publiee sur Internet). Cette video est creee grace aux dessins conserves.
Виталий Викторович Песков – выдающийся российский художник-карикатурист, автор приблизительно 15 тысяч карикатур, публиковавшихся и в России, и за рубежом. Родился 12 мая 1944 года в Москве, умер 12 марта 2002 года тоже в Москве. При его жизни на его родине не выходило ни одного его авторского сборника, не проходило ни одной персональной выставки. Да и отечественных наград он тоже не имел. Все награды были зарубежные. На следующий день после его кончины квартира была разграблена – исчезло всё: ни денег, одежды, ни мебели, ни домашней техники… Исчез и огромный архив публикаций, который художник собирал всю свою творческую жизнь. А через месяц после его смерти некий человек по имени Леонид Тишков, назвав Виталия Пескова своим другом «замечательным», устроил платную выставку трехсот его карикатур… При этом вдова художника Ирина Коршикова уверяет, что этот человек никаким другом Виталия не был, и она сама даже не догадывалась о существовании этого человека, а как получилось, что у него оказались триста рисунков, - ответ только один: они были украдены из квартиры. Ирина Коршикова имела при себе около 3 тысяч рисунков мужа, потому они рисунки оказались сохранившимися, иначе их бы ждала судьба всех остальных произведений художника, т.е. – полное исчезновение. Вдова художника издала книгу о нём с сохранившимися произведениями (сокращенный вариант книги поставлен в Интернет). Данный видеоролик создан благодаря сохранившимся рисункам.
