7+8 - Requesting a New Workspace+Oracle APEX version-The Complete Oracle APEX Course 2023.MjdAlabasi
In this lecture, you will be getting to know the Oracle APEX official website and requesting a new workspace in that platform for the course to follow.
By the end of April 2021, Oracle APEX has been upgraded from 20.2 to 21.1 in apex.oracle.com website.
As mentioned by Oracle, they have stopped integrating the sample apps in this release.
So, this version doesn't have the Sample Database Application which needs to be installed when you have to follow my examples in this course.
I have attached the sql script file (f131021.sql) which contains the Sample Database Application and can be found in the resources.
Make sure to download it and import the file to your workspace.
To import, do the following steps
1. Go to App Builder and click on Import icon.
2. Locate the file which you had downloaded from the resources.
3. Click on Next and then Install Application.
4. After the application installation, proceed with installing the Supporting Objects.
5. Finish the step by clicking on the App Builder again.
Now you are ready with the Sample Database Application and you are good to go with the next lectures.
