This video examines the key battles from the American Civil War in 1863. These included Chancellorsville which was possibly Robert E. Lee's greatest victory and Gettysburg which was has most telling defeat. Grant's victories at Vicksburg and Chattanooga are also examined as he emerges as the greatest Union general.
