Rode NTG3 vs NTG3B Audio Comparison: Test and My Personal Preference
What's the difference between the Rode NTG3 and the Rode NTG3B shotgun microphones? Are they the same thing (except for the color), or is there something fundamentally different between them? If they're really the same, they should sound EXACTLY the same, right?
Well... I thought it was just the color, too, but as you'll see from my audio test to the trained ear, I found a noticeable difference between the two.
