Since time immemorial, humanity has created anthropomorphic beings. But the concept of Furry is contemporary, and we owe it to Steve Gallacci.

In 1983, Steve launched the first issue of "Albedo Anthropomorphics," a sophisticated military science fiction comic set in space, considered the pioneer of the furry subgenre.

The series follows the story of a young feline officer who ends up playing a central role in the complex political conflicts that consume her universe.

And although seeing an animal with human characteristics wasn't new, Steve was the first to decisively distance this style from children and focus it more on an adult audience, like the people who should be subscribed to my channel.

What's interesting is that Steve worked in the United States Air Force for six years as a technical illustrator, and his military knowledge is reflected both in the comic's detailed vehicles and in its realistic portrayal of military life and work.
