HOW TO ENABLE SPELL CHECK IN NOTEPAD++:Plugin For Spelling Check In Notepad++ (Windows 10)
Have you ever had a embarrassing spelling errors in your code comments?
Notepad++ can check spelling on the fly in your code. And it is smart enough to ignore your variable, function names.
Notepad++, default installation does not come with the spell check enabled. This quick Notepad++ tutorial will show you how to enable spelling check in Notepad++ on Windows 10.
We will need to install a plugin for spelling check (Called DSpellCheck!)
1. Go to Plugins ► Plugins Admin.
2. Search for 'SpellCheck'
3. Read the description.
4. Click Install.
5. Notepad++ will restart. And you should be able to see DSpellCheck under the Plugins menu.
STILL, SPELL CHECK IN NOTEPAD++ NOT WORKING?
It is possible that Notepad++ spell check may still not be working. The reason is that it still doesn't know which language to check spelling errors in!
We need to do one more step. Go to Plugins ► DSpellCheck ► Change Current Language. You need to select the language and install it (For me, it was English (United States). Once the language is installed. You will be able to see the Spelling Errors with a RED curly underline. You can right-click on spelling errors to correct the errors.
