The Children of King Bomb - Space Station Alpha (Earl of Twirl Mix)
(UPDATE): This is a song from the 2006 Space Station Alpha album 'Flora'. It's a concept album about green and growing things and their power. The lyrics are an ode to the enormous, hidden core at the center of our planet. It gives us air to breathe via the magnetic field it produces. The song also alludes to a spell that keeps the heavenly bodies spinning and moving until '...its center is still'.
I wrote this song 19 years ago and must confess I couldn't decipher what I was singing at one point. Therefore this: 'the seminal phrase that bares up the day...'. '...bares up the day...' is the part in question. So, the new lyrics are a play on words through double meaning--the spell 'bears' up the sun over the horizon and, in doing so, 'bares' it, exposing it and the day itself. But if I can't understand my original intention, boo to me. Feel free to make up your own words, if you like :)
