Indian Consumer Research Scam Call
We keep getting these scam calls from India every week day at various times.
These people claim they are from "Consumer Research" and asked for us by our surname which I blanked out in the audio.
The lady who calls herself 'Anya' (probably not her real name) then continued from her script and even when I interrupted her by asking for their manager, told her not to read from her script and giving her false stories she simply don't listen and continues on.
Eventually she gave up and disconnect the line.
They also try to be clever by getting around the 'Telephone Preference Service (TPS)' by saying that are doing a survey. They are aware of TPS.
I posted this video to warn others NOT to give any personal information to these scammers.
Following to the above information, it turned out it was a company called 'National Money Savers'. I reported this company to TPS and The Direct Marketing Commission, this company got reprimanded and the calls from them has stopped.
However, I still getting similar calls from India and I will be chasing after them to find out the name of their client.
