What To Do When Your Client Doesn't Pay (use the double-tap)
When clients don’t pay after we complete a project it creates a huge stress for us. We may try emailing them, or calling them, and they just ghost us with no reply. We wonder when we will get paid, or what is wrong, or even if we will get paid for our work. It can also make us angry and even keep us up at night.
Fortunately, the reason most clients don’t pay when invoices are due relates to them being busy with other priorities. And, in most cases, they will end up paying us eventually. But it still causes stress for us, and can make us feel disrespected as creative professionals.
In this video, I describe a technique I use when dealing with no paying or slow paying clients. I call it the “Double-Tap” and, for me, it is highly effective in resolving this issue.
