If you're a woman & believe in God, watch this. Let's talk about Jesus' radical approach to women in His time, and how it was revolutionary in the historical context of those times. How did Jesus view women? How did He treat them? Did He love them? Today we’re going to discuss Jesus’ relationship to women as written in the bible.

Disclaimer, This is not to say Jesus loved women more than men, for we know that God does not show favouritism (Romans 2:11) and that in Christ there is neither male nor female (Galatians 3:28). God loves men and women equally and this is good news! This is just to show that Jesus did acknowledge women, and that they were equally important to Him as men were. 🤍

Some interesting things to notice: 🕊
His first miracle was initiated by the request of a woman.
He revealed His identity as the Messiah to a woman first.
He revealed His identity as the Resurrection and the Life to a woman first.
After He rose from the dead, Jesus appeared to a woman first. Women were the first witnesses to the Resurrection.
Jesus gave women the important task of instructing others that He had risen.
He conversed with women in public. (Not the common thing it is today).
He healed women.
He protected women in situations that typically demand judgement.
