A lot of sweat and swearing went into this :D
Pop up pause menu, unlocking the cursor, fading in the main title with a script that grabs the alpha value of the used shader. Pretty nuts but worth it :D now I just have to actually populate the main menu, get some test levels going and load them from there.
Also worked out a couple optimizations and keeping the camera clipping plane scaled back so I can capture full screen without too much of a framerate loss; need to make lod models for a lot of the scenery components in addition to the one I have for the torch model.
