Q: „wegen“ Genitiv oder Dativ?
A: In written standard German: Genitiv (wegen des Wetters). In everyday speech, Dativ is frequent and widely accepted (wegen dem Wetter).
Q: „während“ Genitiv oder Dativ?
A: Standard: Genitiv (während des Konzerts). Colloquial Dativ appears in speech (während dem Konzert), with some specific plural exceptions.
