Modeling the Tesla CYBERTRUCK in Mastercam
Tesla took the world by storm when they released the design of the new Cybertruck. To say it's a completely new design for a truck is an understatement! Love it or hate it, it is definitely interesting.
Why create the Cybertruck in Mastercam? Modeling a fancy car with all it's complex shapes and curves is extremely difficult. Years of experience and hours and hours and hours and...you get the idea...it takes a really long time to model something like a Porshe GT3 RS. This thing...you can whip one up in no time! Plus, it's actually kinda cool. The design does grow on ya a bit.
This would be a great part not only for modeling, but multiple machining setups, multiple plane creations, level usage....and I have some ideas for machining detail which could be fun. This is something you could easily cut on the machines, whether 3 or 5 axis (the 3 axis would be a couple setups). This is something we could turn into a Mastercam lesson in both 3 and 5 axis setups.
