This free online workshop will cover the following issues:
-secondary data and its common sources
-copyright ownership and duration
-copyright exceptions and limitations
-copyright in an international context
-copyright and licences
-other relevant rights in secondary data use.
By the end of the session, attendees will have a better understanding of copyright considerations when creating, using or sharing data. For example, what protection is offered under copyright and other relevant rights, identifying copyright exemptions, copyright ownership, country-level diversity etc.
