Amanda Handel and Michael Jackson collaboration "Blue Labyrinth"
This film clip is an excerpt from a collaborative work titled "Blue Labyrinth" by Amanda Handel: piano, and Michael Jackson: didjeridu and didjeribone. This excerpt starts in the central section, plays until theme returns, then cuts to the last phrase. The thematic material on didjeribone is written by Michael. This live performance was given in a concert with "Ghosts and Angels" in Sydney, 2008. The full 10 minute score of "Blue Labyrinth" will be recorded by Amanda and Michael on an album of original works for piano, didjeridu and didjeribone in 2012. A special arrangement of the piece was recorded for the sound track of the AV installation in the theatre at the World Heritage Visitors Centre in the Mt Tomah Botanic Garden (Sydney).
