Once upon a time…
Fairytale endings have always seemed like a dream, but many forget the true, twisted and dark nature of original fairytales. But for fairytales that end on a rather happier note, what if that grim nature was taken up a notch?
“What if Snow White’s body was never found, but left to rot in the vast forest?”
“What if both of Cinderella’s feet were amputated by her wicked stepmother before she got to try on the glass slipper, leaving her to bleed to death in the lonely and dark basement?”
“What if before passing time reached 100 years, the evil thirteenth fairy decided to set the entire castle ablaze with not just Sleeping Beauty, but everyone else inside to perish in their sleep?”
“What if instead of enticing Beauty/Belle to stay at home longer than two months, her older sisters kill her, also leaving the Beast to die from loneliness and heartbreak back at his castle?”
***Although the outfits are heavily based on the Disney counterparts, the video mainly follows the original fairytales.

*Beauty/Belle’s outfit is what I imagined a historically accurate Disney version would look like. Although, the off-the shoulder sleeves are just a reference to the Disney version :)
