I have continued work on the new layout since the last running session and have been adding numerous scenic details as well as building more of the landforms using expanded polystyrene, plaster bandage and sculptamould, as well as hedges and grass added to the campsite and river area, as well as a garden added to the castle and the beginning of the ivy on the walls, the Station has also received work including laying the base (which isn't yet stuck down and blended in) and weathering the track.
I have also added an extra siding to the third platform, using Peco Bullhead rail to simulate an older section of track.

The layout features two main lines and a through station of 3 platforms (the third is a terminus), the layout is built using PECO code 75 concrete sleeper track and respected to give a more realistic look.
The layout Runs on DCC with the NCE power cab.
Other scenes it features is a caravan park (based on the Valley Caravan Park in Polzeath, North Cornwall), a Castle (not based on any protoype, a river with a waterfall and rock face, as well as a bridge and tunnels. There is also a level crossing with working lights and a supermarket and small town.

I have also managed to have working boats in the river and working cars and bikes in the caravan park, using a chain and sprocket set, a thin plastic base and magnets on the chain and models (this is based off the idea of the Magnorail system, which was well out of my budget!), so far this system still seems to be working fine, however a few tweaks have been made to increase the smoothness of running and reduce the chance of the chain jamming.
