Here's the rundown on how to How To Live Stream with Zoom
1. Add an encoder in Switchboard Cloud. When picking a server, select US-Geo if in the US and Global-Geo if outside the US. Since Zoom operates off their own servers, this will automatically pick the best connection for Zoom's servers.
Make note of the server URL and stream key
2. Go to Zoom's website, go to settings, select In Meeting Advanced. Turn on "Allow Live Streaming" and select "Custom Live Streaming Service." Save.
3. Start a new Zoom room for your event. Click on More, then Live on Custom Live Streaming Service. This will open a new web page. Input the server URL and stream key from Switchboard Cloud. For page URL put your website or website of where you'll be streaming to.
Once you click Go Live you should see a preview of your Zoom room in Switchboard Cloud. You only have to do this connection once. Zoom will save your custom settings.
4. Setup the destinations you want to stream to in Switchboard Cloud. If this is a recurring show or event, you can save time by using Switchboard Cloud's templates to automatically fill in your live stream details.
5. When you're ready to go live, click on the destinations you want to go live to or check the box in the group to go live to all. Then hit Go Live.
