Today, February 10, many NTV-PLUS cardsharing subscribers were faced with the inability to watch many TV channels. The problem was noticed among users receiving a signal from the "European" and "Siberian" satellites - 36°E and 56°E, and affected all NTV-PLUS cardsharing subscribers regardless of the provider.
The reason for the difficulties that arose was the changes in the signal encoding algorithm that occurred on the NTV-PLUS side. In the summer of 2021, the operator released an update for the SMiT PRO CAM-M/S conditional access modules, and disabled support for outdated software (versions 4.2.2.6-30 and 4.2.2.7-32) for this equipment just today - this is what caused the problems with cardsharing. Moreover, some broadcasts disappeared from a number of IPTV providers, whose source of streams was traditionally NTV-PLUS.
