Parallel or New York Compression techniques in Cubase Pro 8

In this lesson I walk you through the technique of Parallel or sometimes known as New York Compression. This is a great tip for making things phatter and have more presence in a mix, This works great on drum groups, Vocals, Synths, but why stop there. This technique can be used on pretty much anything.
Its also worth trying to add different effects to the parallel compressed group, again anything goes like EQ, Distortion & Saturation.
