Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel!

In this video, I'm going to explain how to install Windows 2000 on a hard drive operating in SATA - AHCI mode. We'll use generic UniATA drivers for PATA/SATA/AHCI drives.

How will we do this? We'll try two methods:

METHOD 1: We'll see how to modify a previous Windows 2000 installation in IDE mode to one in SATA AHCI mode by installing the drivers directly from Windows.

METHOD 2: We'll perform a clean installation of Windows 2000 from scratch, loading the UniATA drivers from a floppy disk drive during the initial installation process.

You will need:
A PC with a SATA hard drive and a BIOS with the "SATA mode" (AHCI) option.

A floppy disk drive in both the retro PC and the PC where you download the drivers.

NOTE: The 2K3 folder is for Windows Server 2003, not for Windows 2000. For the latter, using the 2K folder is sufficient.

I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you very much for watching, see you in the next video. Best regards.
