Exactly one year ago, Addison and Emily Edmonds (co-founders) got in a wreck on a way to a hunt. Their dog, Chevy, was in a GUNNER in the back of the truck.
“As I pulled through the light, the SUV smashed into the side of my truck going somewhere around 40-50 miles an hour. The classic t-bone.
After I made sure everyone involved was okay, I ran to check on Chevy in the back of the truck. When I opened the door to check on him, the first thing he did was lick my face. It was such a relief that he was okay.
Later that morning, he picked up nearly every bird of a 10-man limit. I always knew how important the kennel and tie-down straps were, but it was eye-opening to experience it first hand.
It was a full-circle moment because at the time, Chevy was riding in the same kennel that I used for Gunner the last 7 years of his life. And that is exactly why I overbuilt the kennel, to last a lifetime – so shout out to you up there, Gunner.” – Addison Edmonds, GUNNER Founder
