2D or 3D? You Don’t Have to Choose Anymore (Adobe Project Neo Tutorial)
In this video, I’m using Adobe Project Neo to build a set of badges that blend 2D and 3D into one workflow.
Instead of designing for a single fixed angle, everything is created in a dimensional space, which means I can rotate, reuse, and even animate the designs without having to rebuild them from scratch.
This approach has completely changed how I think about illustration. What used to feel like one locked-in composition now feels a lot more flexible and dynamic, especially when you can bring it to life with simple animation.
I’ll walk through the full process step by step, from building the initial shapes to refining the final designs and adding motion, so you can start experimenting with this workflow yourself.
