This week’s brief challenges us to envision our ideal future selves. In today’s constantly changing environment, many people tend to lose a vision of who they are in their ‘ideal state’. The ‘ideal self’ is a visualization practice where you create an image of yourself in your ideal state (physically fit and healthy while deeply connected to those around you and your higher calling in life). It’s the version of yourself that is achieving its highest sense of potential, performance, service, and connection. When we develop an image of what this potential looks like, and practice it every day, it often brings peace of mind and clarity around who we really are and what goals we are working towards. Daily visualization of this image will become a reality if routinely practiced. Revisit this image often and remember the person you are striving to become.
