About how to hijack domain administrator identity with ease and gazing up this type of old-fashioned attack and hacks, this hack is still effective today with most modern Microsoft Windows Servers and workstations, because Privileges beat permissions, and in this video, we will see how to abuse and impersonate “domain administrator” privileges which is even now going to a more interesting attack.

We have a small scenario of our Active Directory domain here to demonstrate the precise hack, we have two or more domain controllers and several domain-joined workstations, this is the typical active directory domain scenario in most of the small to medium-sized companies. This doesn't matter how secure you make your internal or remote network as long as you use the highest privilege account to log in remotely and manage your lowest privileges workstations or servers.

Win10-PC1: To depict the real scenario, I am pretending as a normal user running Windows 10 with local PC administrator rights, now I am going to call our helpdesk department and tell him that I am having a sort of a problem and ask them to connect to my computer remotely and check the issues which I am facing. I will sign out of my machine first so that it's free for the helpdesk staff.

AD Server 2022 - Now my administrator who is a domain administrator or server admin who has the highest privileges, wants to help me but he's masking a few mistakes here, the biggest one being that he's using the domain admin or common account to connect to my workstation, now when he's connecting to my computer just logs on remotely through the remote desktop connection.
