First time exploring the Throne of The Tides (ToT / TotT) and figured I could solo this. The bosses proved me wrong but only for a little while.... ok a long while with this bugger.
Third boss is our friend Erunak from all the Vash'jir quests except he's mind controlled to 50%. Fight him until the little jellyfish pops off his head and then kill that. Easy, right? Not alone at least for my attempts as a warrior.
Wowhead and other forums say this isn't a DPS race. When you're alone, I beg to differ. The shaman uses 3 spells or so and they all hit hard.
Currently fighting with Tier 11 PvP gear from honor points along with a couple from Conquest. While the resilience doesn't help in anything but PvP, aside from perhaps slightly less Mastery, I see no reason as to why this gear won't suffice as being better until higher raids or Firelands - it boosts HP, STR, and nearly all other stats significantly from my old 348 set. The new armor I'm using for these battles is ilevel 383. Had to start using a few items for success here: Golemblood Potion, Drums of Forgotten Kings, Mythical Healing Potion and changing my 2H axe from Windwalker to mending along with also using the previous Tier 10 2H axe with Mending. Also finally leveled first aid so had Dense Embersilk Bandages at the ready just in case.
This guy was a wonderful challenge all in all. Probably dozens of attempts, a few hundred G in repair bills (oy!) and really trying to think of nearly anything that could be done to manage this guy alone as a warrior. While I could've used a flask of Titanic STR ala Magtherideon, I obviously sufficed with the current tactic.
Shot at 1200p / 60FPS but Youtube downsamples the clip. Too bad.
