To celebrate the holidays, I decided to create an LED matrix using an Arduino and the following Adafruit libraries: NeoPixel, NeoMatrix and GFX. This project can also be modified to display non-holiday themed images, depending on the time of the year or your personal taste. This is also a fairly simple project from a hardware perspective, only requiring an Arduino and some addressable LED strings.
