GPS Big Test: Snapdragon 855+, Exynos 990, Kirin 990, Kirin 980, Exynos 7885
Let's talk about smartphone navigation quality using several Android platforms as examples: Snapdragon 855+ (ASUS), Exynos 990 and 7885 (Samsung), and Kirin 990 and 980 (Huawei). And a BONUS! I'll add... well, no, see for yourself. There's no point in spoiling it in the description. Actually, if you're reading the description, here's what I can tell you. In my experience, the Snapdragon should have performed much better. Thinking back to various older smartphones, even the HTC One M9, which I used with an SD810, I don't recall any particular issues. Okay, except for heating, but it's an 810 after all. :) So, if I'd used a Pixel with a Snapdragon, the results would likely have been better. But that's not certain, as subjective impressions are always deceiving.
