How to Remove Password from Windows 11 - (Current Password Not Needed)
In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to remove your password from Windows 11, without knowing your current password.
Please note, to do this, you’ll need to already be logged into your computer.
To get started:
1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Command Prompt” and right click on the command prompt application, and click on the “Run as administrator” option.
2. Once command prompt opens up, type in the following command “net user” and then your Windows user account name. For me, that is “Laurence”, and then “ “.
3. Now hit the enter key on your keyboard.
4. Your password will now be removed from your user account.
5. Now if I go into settings, and click on “Accounts”, then “Sign-in Options”, and then “Password”, you can see that the option to add a password is now displaying, which means I currently don’t have a password.
And it’s as easy as that, removing a password in Windows 11 is an easy task to perform.
