How To Make a Turquoise Ring
So I'll show you Start to finish How to make a Turquoise ring. I'm no pro silversmither.. I learned this from a rad guy named Monte.. he was my friends adopted Grandpa.
This isn't a basic Torquoise Ring, But everything I do is the basic steps for Silversmithing:
Get a stone and size the bezel to the stone. cut the bezel, and solder it together. Use a lot of flux to protect your ring and make things easier on you. Solder the things starting with Hard flux, Medium, then Easy. size the band or shank to the size you want for the finger. You can pickle the finished solder to get rid of scorch marks. Shine up that ring. Place the stone, and fit the stone with the bezel.
So the steps can go in different orders at times and can change..
