The anime Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru tells the story of Akutsu Masatora, a demon who infiltrates the human world disguised as a high school student. His goal is to find a candidate for leadership in the fight against the angels. Akutsu discovers that one of his classmates, Lily Amane, is one of the angels he was supposed to oppose. However, Akutsu falls in love with Amane at first sight.
