She's the vocalist of the band BRATS, a founding member of REIRIE, and a former founding member of LADYBABY.
In August 2011, REI and her sister AYA formed the band BRATS. Aya played bass and Rei played guitar and did vocals.
In March 2015, she became a member of the group LADYBABY along with LADYBEARD and RIE KANEKO.
In November 2017, Rei left LADYBABY, but continued her singing career with BRATS.
On March 2024, the band BRATS announced they were suspending activities indefinitely.
In January 2023, Rei becomes a founding member of the Jpop idol duo REIRIE (ใใใใ).
