In this tutorial, we will focus on creating a print-on-demand store that sells various types of clothing like t-shirts, hats, and hoodies.
Before diving into creating your Etsy store, it's essential to determine what you want to sell. With countless options available, such as jewelry or digital products, it's crucial to narrow down your niche. For this tutorial, we will specifically cover print-on-demand clothing, so if you're struggling to decide, I recommend asking Chat GPT for ideas.
Once we've established our niche, we'll head over to etsy.com and sign in or create a new account. Choosing a name for your shop is crucial as it will form the basis of your branding. For our print-on-demand clothing store, we'll select a name that aligns with our products, such as "Dreams in Print USA."
After creating your account, navigate to the "Sell on Etsy" section by clicking on the icon in the top right corner. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your shop preferences, including language, country, currency, and the name of your shop.
Next, we need to determine how we will handle product fulfillment. For print-on-demand, two popular options that integrate with Etsy are Printful and Printify. In this tutorial, we'll sign up for a Printful account, as it offers a user-friendly interface and high-quality mock-ups.
