More than ten years have passed since the heartbreaking film "Slumdog Millionaire" was released. It was something new, something previously unseen in the world of cinema. Directed by British filmmaker Danny Boyle and featuring an all-Indian cast, the film was nominated for 10 Oscars.
The film follows three young residents of the Mumbai slums: 18-year-old Jamal, his brother Salim, and a street girl, Latika. The role of the adult Jamal is played by Indian actor Dev Patel. Salim is played by Madhur Mittal, and Latika is played by Freida Pinto.
