Fix: Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D - Batman Arkham Asylum/Knight
In this video, I show you how to fix the "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application" error when launching Batman Arkham Knight or other Steam games. This is caused by a missing legacy DirectX file.
The Error Message: "Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D, Version=1.0.2902.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies."
The Fix:
Download DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010).
Enable .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows Features.
