NSpace is an experimental algorithmic composition project, exploring music as a geometric journey through an n-space, where an n-space is a space of any number of dimensions (commonly 2 or 3). As the listener travels along a geometric path, one hears the nearby entities, which in this composition represent individual notes. Adjacent notes are related by a harmonic consonance. Other parameters such as register varies smoothly throughout the space. The shape of the path determines the basic form.
This specific composition is a double-spiral, creating an overall arc form, with a sort of minimalist-like gradual transformation of a repeated theme.
