Merge Excel Tables Like a Pro – VSTACK and HSTACK Explained!

Merging tables in Excel can be a mundane task if done manually. Excel 365 has introduced two functions for this task, namely VSTACK and HSTACK. In this video, we'll explore how to use these functions to combine your data.

The VSTACK function allows you to vertically stack two or more tables, appending rows to the bottom of the existing table. This is useful when you have multiple datasets with the same column structure that you want to consolidate into a single table.

On the other hand, the HSTACK function horizontally concatenates tables, adding columns side-by-side. This comes in handy when you have datasets with the same number of rows but different columns that you want to merge.
