Beginner Modeling Tutorial: Make a Simple Book in 3D in Maya in 20 mins

In this video we’re going to show you how to make a simple open book model from scratch in Maya. A book model can be a bit daunting since the shape is deceptively complex in places, but in this video, we show you how to simplify it into individual parts, making one at a time. We start with the cover. Then we build the central spine, where our pages will attach to. And finally, we create the pages themselves.
