"Science Rules the Rouge," a film produced by The Ford Motor Company, proudly publicized the company's scientific testing methods. This segment -- the last half of the film -- begins with the testing done for metal and various automobile parts. Later in the film, Ford sacrifices a completed vehicle to a weather tunnel to see how the car holds up in extreme climates. Finally, the car is put through grueling road tests to see if all of Ford's modern scientific research and testing has created an efficient, high-quality American automobile.
