This is Arknight Endfield, as a fan of Action RPG and recently having played a lot of Star Rupture, and ofcourse a super fan of tower defense games. A combination of Action RPG, Tower Defense and Automation sounds like something for me. But what how does that even work? In this video ill explain it all. I hope it's helpful!

The developer describes the game as a next-generation action RPG that blends real-time combat, base automation, and large-scale exploration within the Arknights universe. Arknights Endfield places players in a semi-open world made up of interconnected zones, where progression is driven by both character development and large-scale industrial systems.
Players control a squad of four characters, switching freely between them during combat to dodge attacks, use special abilities, and exploit enemy weaknesses. Progression is not based on random loot drops. Instead, weapons, equipment, and key quest items are produced through an expanding factory network that gathers, processes, and distributes resources across the world.
Exploration plays a major role, with players establishing mining sites, power stations, and relay networks that automatically transport materials back to their main base. Over time, these systems reshape the environment, visually reflecting player choices and expansion.
Arknights Endfield also introduces defensive gameplay elements. Resource sites are periodically attacked, requiring players to construct and manage automated defenses. Efficient base design directly impacts story progression, quest completion speed, and long-term resource flow.
As a free-to-play title, Arknights Endfield features gacha-style character acquisition, multiple currencies, and battle pass-style systems. However, early gameplay focuses on steady progression without mandatory spending, allowing players to experience the core systems before engaging with optional monetization.
Combining action RPG combat, strategic automation, and live-service progression, Arknights Endfield offers a hybrid experience that appeals to fans of games like Genshin Impact, Satisfactory, and Honkai Star Rail, while building on the established Arknights universe.
