In this tutorial I'll show you how to do the Freeze Frame cloning effect that has been used in multiple music videos. This is a little more on advanced side since we'll be using the Tracker control window, cloning, and rotoscoping your layers. But once you get the hang of it, it'll become easy to recreate and you should be able to produce a full music video with this visual effect. Definitely a fun one to try out. There are also some pretty funny ideas you can create with this one as well. Have fun with it!

• For this tutorial, I use After Effects CC 2017. No plugins are required.
KEYS TO SUCCESS:
• Duplicate your footage and apply a freeze frame at the point where your actor poses.
• Use the pen tool or rotobrush to cut out your actor/actress.
• Track your surroundings using the position & scale parameters. You can apply the rotation parameter if you feel like your camera rotated at all during the shot.
