ESP 8266 Nodemcu RGB LED Strip controlled by a webserver remote
Hello guys, in this video i used a ESP 8266 Nodemcu to control the RGB LED strip by a local web page hosted by esp8266 nodemcu.The circuit is quite simple all you need to do is to get a IR LED & connect it to the D2 pin on nodemcu along with 220 ohm resistor connected to Gnd.The basic idea here is really simple , we will connect nodemcu to our wifi hotspot /router by defining ssid & password of that network & then connect our device to that same network and we will request the defined ip in the code (mine was 192.168.43.72) in the web browser & if everything was correct we will get web page in which we have remote of our LED strip.So the controller of the LED strip has a IR receiver in it and we connected a IR LED to nodemcu so whenever we press any key in the browser the color or pattern of LED strip will change according to the button clicked/pressed so the IR LED will transmit the IR rays to IR Receiver of the LED strip so in short we turned nodemcu in a IR remote which is the exact copy of the remote comes with RGB LED strip but the only difference is that there are no keys to press in our nodemcu remote, we have pur keys to press in our browser because we hosted the remote in the web page.So try this interesting & easy project & click on like icon to like my video & of you are new here then press the subscribe button and if having any suggestions or issues feel free to use comment section.
