Things I forgot to mention in the video:
Golem choice - Any. I take stone because regen is always nice. You can take fire for more damage if you'd prefer.
Ryslatha's Coil - Best DPS upgrade for belts. It makes our bleeds stronger and the way bleed works is you stack the highest hitting ones and refresh them continuously through combat.
Why no rage support for Lacerate - Lacerate is a fast skill by itself and doesn't require more attack speed, on top of what we already have. You can get rage through cluster jewels if you prefer and it's what I tend to do since I love rage. You can additionally use berserk for even more burst DPS on bosses.
F.A.Q
Q) Do I have to use bladestorm and then switch to lacerate? Can't I just use lacerate right off the bat?
A)Yes. Absolutely. This is just the template I follow. You can do whatever you want and play how you see fit. It'll work just fine!
Q) How do I sustain my mana. I'm always running out
A) So either grab the mana leech node early on in the tree to help you out, use a mana flask, get physical damage is leeched as mana on a jewel to socket in the passive tree or the affix on your amulet or gloves.
Q) What map mods should I avoid?
A) Anything with physical reflect or cannot leech off monsters. Those 2 are just hella awful. Also avoid anything that reduces our block chance since that will make it easier to get taken out while we are mapping
Q)I keep dying even though I'm tanky. Help.
A)You're playing a melee build and unfortunately at a disadvantage when it comes to dealing with projectiles or attacks. My advice is just keep moving. Try to never stop. Move - attack - move - attack.
Q)Can this build take on Sirus 8 or Uber elder?
A) Absolutely. Without much investment at all you can easily reach 1.3-1.5million dps while remaining extreamly tanky
Q)Why this build instead of other league starters?
A)I find this build to be a jack of all trades. Pretty decent at everything. Other league starters that come to mind are Tricksters using essence drain and contagion which is better at mapping, worse at bossing. You also have saboteurs going Ball lightning miner builds which is rather poor for mapping but a boss melter.
Choose a league starter on what you want to focus on, but if you can't then you can't really go wrong with a bladestorm or lacerate gladiator
Q)Is this Hardcore Viable
A) Yes and no. In its current state, no. Upon tweaking to be tankier? Yes.
