How to install packages in RHEL8 using RPM(Redhat Package Manager)
hello friends in this video we will see how we install and manage package in RHEL 8 using RPM (redhat package Manager.
commands:
RPM QUERY COMMAND
-qa list all installed packages
-ql it display information about a package
-qi list all files include in a package
-qc list configuration files included in a package
--qd list documentation files included in a package
-q - -script display the shell
Syntax: rpm (option) Package_name
-I installing a rpm Package
-v verbose
-h display progression bar in hash or percentage
-U for upgrading the existing installed package
-e to remove or erase any installed package
