Evgeny Vladimirovich Levchenko: "We invite you to a session on thoracic oncology and oncosurgery"
A session on thoracic oncology will be held on July 4 as part of the 10th St. Petersburg International Forum "White Nights 2024", to which speakers from oncological and surgical institutions of Russia and neighboring countries have been invited.
Head of the Thoracic Department of the N. N. Petrov National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeny Vladimirovich Levchenko:
"Dear colleagues, we invite you to the forum "White Nights-2024". We will consider the main problems of primary multiple lung diseases, metastatic lung lesions and complicated lung cancer. Master classes will be held. The event will be held in person and online. Take part in any format convenient for you."
Three slots are planned within the session:
*️⃣In the first part, experts will discuss surgical approaches to metastatic lung lesions.
*️⃣The second part is devoted to complicated tumor processes in the chest organs.
*️⃣The third slot is devoted to primary multiple lung tumors. Modern approaches of both a tactical and technical nature will be discussed.

❗️Also on July 5, the country's leading thoracic surgeons will hold a master class "Live Surgery". A live broadcast will be conducted from the operating rooms of the Center.
*️⃣Removal of a giant mediastinal tumor from open access by sternotomy will be demonstrated by the director of the Research Institute-Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after prof. S.V. Ochapovsky, professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Alekseevich Porkhanov.
