💡When deciding where to put your Litter-Robot, there’s a few things to keep in mind:
Use the handles located on the sides of the unit to pick Litter-Robot up
Keep the unit indoors somewhere cool and dry.
Place near a power outlet and on a firm, level surface.
Avoid placing Litter-Robot on carpet or uneven surfaces as it can affect the accuracy of the cat sensor.
Place the unit at least one inch from the wall.
Place Litter-Robot near the old litter box to help your cat acclimate to Litter-Robot.
🔌Powering on Litter-Robot
Connect the power supply to the back of the unit and plug it into your nearest outlet.
Fill the globe with any clay clumping litter of your choice, to just under the max fill line. Do not use litters that are strictly absorbent, non-clumping, loose-clumping, newspaper-based, or wood-based pellets.
Press the power button
🛜 Connecting Litter-Robot 3 to the Wifi
Make sure Litter-Robot is Wifi compatible
Make sure your mobile device’s bluetooth is enabled
Install and open the Whisker app
Log in or register an account on the app
Tap the plus button to add a new robot
Select the Litter-Robot 3 icon to start the onboarding process
Put Litter-Robot into pairing mode by long-pressing the Cycle and Empty buttons together for 3 seconds or until the Power button turns blue. When done correctly, the Power light will turn White, then Blue.
Register your robot by scanning the QR code on the back of the unit to link the serial number to your app.
Name your Litter-Robot
Connect your phone to Litter-Robot via your device’s bluetooth
Select your home WiFi network and enter your password
😺Tips to get your cat to use Litter-Robot:
Place Litter-Robot near the old litter box
Leave the unit off at first to give your cat time to sniff, explore, and acclimate themselves to their new automatic litter box.
Keep the same type of litter as before unless it is incompatible with Litter-Robot
