We are beginning the second phase (29 parts of the first phase are presented in issues 82–123) of the development of Yashin's Universal Automated Flatbed Woodmachine (Yashin-11). The vertical axis will be computer-controlled. Movement along the longitudinal and transverse axes will be manual, and in the future, with electronic control of these movements. This means that the machine under development will not be a traditional CNC machine. In my opinion, such a machine is closer to the mindset of the amateur woodworker, as it offers greater technical possibilities for creativity.
Maximum milling parameters:
length - 2150 mm;
width - 1300 mm;
height - 400 mm.
The machine is based on the Woodro machine by Korean designer Lee Hyun. This issue examines the design sketches for the machine bed and table frame, as well as the components, specifically the structural aluminum profile from Soberizavod.
