Vidyasagar Science Olympiad 2023, Department of Secondary Education, Government of West Bengal, Memo No. 146(25)/SCH&MC/97/Exam/2023, dated 23.02.2023 tells that tri-layered Vidyasagar Science Olympiad, 2023 is going to be held in this year for the students of class 9 from all corners of West bengal on 7th May, 2023 (12.00 noon to 3.00 p.m.). Top five students of class IX of any recognised Govt./ Govt. aided/ Govt. Sponsored/ Non-Govt. aided/ DA getting schools of West Bengal, nominated by HOI of a school based on the performance (Total % of marks obtained) in the Annual Examination of Class VIII are eligible to apply for VSO, 2023.
